Our Story
True North Steakhouse was born from a simple conviction: Alberta produces the finest beef on the continent. We honour that by keeping things honest — sourced from ranches we know by name, aged with patience, and grilled over real wood fire.
Our ranching partners raise cattle on open pasture across the Alberta foothills. No feedlots. No shortcuts. Every cut that reaches your plate carries the story of this land — the cold mornings, the wide sky, the grass beneath their hooves.
The Fire
We cook over open wood flame — cherry, hickory, and local hardwood. No gas shortcuts. The fire is the kitchen, and the pitmaster is the chef. Every steak earns its crust.
